Dan began his career as a product designer at Dyson. Following a desire to live and work a short walk from the sea, in 2003, Dan founded circular design practice ‘ashortwalk’. For 15 years ashortwalk has been quietly designing new generations of impactful products that close the loop on product design. By using unloved recycled waste materials to make products that will last, and converting worthless materials into worthwhile products, ashortwalk create value from the unwanted. Dan is definitely the outdoorsy type, spending his free time with his family who are all either on a boat, board or bike.
