Information about the festival
Getting to Goodfest
Goodfest will be held at Bedruthan Hotel, perched on the hill overlooking Mawgan Porth on the stunning North Coast of Cornwall. As well as an inspiring landscape right on the doorstep, which we’ll make as full use of as possible (weather permitting), the hotel also has fantastic eco-credentials.
Hotel accommodation rates and booking information will be released shortly. As well as the hotel, there are numerous rental properties within a short walking distance (be warned – you’ll probably have to climb a steep hill) and also lodges/glamping at The Park.
We’ve always liked the idea of cycling to Goodfest, but we know it’s not going to be easy for everyone so we’ve organised with our friends Adventure Uncovered and Brake the Cycle, the Good Ride from Bristol to Goodfest as an option.
Read more about it here and if you do book to join the ride (which may have some of our speakers joining), then use the code CYCLE for your festival ticket and get 15% discount.
The closest train station is Newquay but we recommend you disembark at Bodmin Parkway and arrange onward travel to the venue which is about 40mins away. There is a sleeper service operated by GWR.
We will arrange some transfers from Bodmin Parkway Station and will be in contact closer to the event to give you details.
Use postcode: TR8 4BU
There is parking at the hotel which is free and monitored by Parking Eye. Please log your registration plate during check in. If you drive an electric vehicle, there is Tesla Connector and Type 2 charging capability.
If you are driving to us and have room for others, please post where you are driving from and to, and what dates on our Facebook page, so we can see if we can help organise car sharing. Where possible, we’re asking you to share transport. If you can not find a car share here, you can also use Pasty Connection (around Cornwall) or BlaBlaCar
For us the last resort would be to fly so we do encourage you to make alternative travel arrangements. The airport is Cornwall Airport Newquay and we ask that if this is the travel method you use, you are responsible for off-setting and for also letting us know how you have done this so we can share with others.
In partnership with the venue, we’ve tried to make the event as sustainable as possible and we’ll be recording how everyone travels to and from Goodfest so we can work with B Corp Ecosphere and Leap to balance your journeys if you haven’t already done so.
