At GoodFest, we believe that doing good in the world starts from within.
That’s why we’ve partnered with transformational coach Martin Palethorpe of Unbounded to create the GoodRetreat— a soulful, restorative space for people doing good in the world to pause, reconnect to what matters most, and return with a deeper sense of clarity, vitality and purpose.
Why This Partnership?
We’re inspired by Martin’s ability to hold deep, transformational spaces that change lives from the inside out. His work helps people not just think differently, but be different — more aligned, more awake, more ready to meet the world with love and impact.
This collaboration is part of how GoodFest is evolving — to not only host our amazing festival once a year, but to support people doing good all year round through powerful partnerships that nourish and expand what’s possible.
Why Now — and Why Glastonbury?
The world is changing fast — and those doing good in it need space to slow down, replenish, and realign with what truly matters.
The GoodRetreat is our response to that need.
While Bedruthan Hotel in Cornwall has been the cherished home of GoodFest for many years, this retreat asked for something different — something quieter, deeper, more intimate. That’s why we’re hosting it in Glastonbury.
Known as a place of ancient magic and spiritual depth, Glastonbury has long been a destination for those seeking clarity, purpose and renewal. And within it, we’ve found the perfect sanctuary: Sambogaya.
Tucked on the sacred ley lines of Chalice Hill, Sambogaya is a soulful, beautiful retreat centre designed for deep rest and transformation. It’s a place where time slows down, nature holds you gently, and insight comes with ease.
This is not a festival. It’s a retreat.
