Goodfest Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor is Ambassador for Ecotricity and Forest Green Rovers, supporting Dale Vince, Founder of ‘Britain’s greenest energy company’ and the World’s greenest football club’. For the past twelve years, she’s helped Dale manifest his vision for a ‘Green Britain’.
As a qualified Food Technologist, she worked in the food industry for a number of years before choosing a new career path which led her to the world of sustainability; leading the Soil Association’s organic certification activities, their marketing and events and fundraising. In 2010 she joined Dale to represent Ecotricity and run their cause-related campaigns, events, and partnership development.
Helen has been instrumental in Forest Green Rovers FC turning green and was CEO for the Club’s first season in the English Football League, in 2017/18. She is trustee of (and runs) the Green Britain Foundation, focussing on the football club’s community outreach activities and helps manage the ‘Ministry of Eco Education’, putting sustainability at the heart of learning for primary and secondary pupils.
Helen also has her own business: One Blue Marble, helping environmental organisations raise funds and their awareness. Within her mix she looks after Sea Shepherd UK, The Sustainable Food Trust’s Harmony Project, The Health and Wellbeing Trust and is on the Board of Catalyse Change, supporting young women carve a career path in sustainability and leadership.
Put simply, Helen thrives on ‘joining the dots’ in the world of sustainability and making things happen!
