How to get there

Getting to Goodfest

Train

The closest train station is Newquay but we recommend you disembark at Bodmin Parkway and arrange onward travel to the venue which is about 40mins away. There is a sleeper service operated by GWR.

Shuttle transfers

We will arrange some transfers from Bodmin Parkway Station and will be in contact closer to the event to give you details.

By Road

Use postcode: TR8 4BU

By Air

For us the last resort would be to fly so we do encourage you make alternative travel arrangements. The airport is Cornwall Airport Newquay and we ask that if this is the travel method you use, you are responsible for off-setting and for also letting us know how you have done this so we can share with others.

Sustainability

In partnership with the venue, we’ve tried to make the event as sustainable as possible and we’ll be recording how everyone travels to and from Goodfest so we can work with B Corp Ecosphere and Leap to balance your journeys if you haven’t already done so.

Activities

We have arranged for a Silent Disco Yoga. If you are furrowing your eyebrows and wondering what this is, be assured, this is the perfect start to your festival. Think Silent Disco. Think yoga. Now marry the two.

You don’t need to have done yoga before. Just wear something loose and comfortable and prepare to have your mind and body stretched and flexed and warmed up ready for the day ahead. This will be a basic class with demonstrators to help but there will also be the options to push yourself into more challenging positions if you wish.

Ocean Flow Yoga and Silent Disco Newquay have teamed up to bring us this bespoke event. Headphones and mats will be supplied. https://www.silentdiscoyoga.co.uk

Other activities you can organise for yourself include: walking, spa and gym at Bedruthan Hotel, surfing (Lessons and wetsuit/board hire can be booked direct via https://www.thesurfclubcornwall.co.uk/)

Creche facilities and children’s’ activities

You are welcome to bring your family. The Bedruthan Hotel has various family-friendly facilities available. Please contact the hotel for details.

Dress code

Very relaxed!

We recommend you bring outdoor weather gear (remember from last year: cliffs = windy), suitable shoes for walking (we will be walking to dinner on Thursday evening – taxis back). Coats, swimwear and gym gear, wetsuit if you plan to get in the sea.
