Ben is the co founder of a purpose led hospitality operation based within the world class community at Wheal Kitty Workshops, St Agnes. Ben has spent a career in the kitchen in some of the best restaurants around as well as working with others to develop cafes, food offerings and products. Currently Ben enjoys brand work with Quickes, Cornish Sea Salt and Finisterre.
Planning and delivering exceptional events and love fuelled weddings across the South West and beyond Ben and his wife, Sam, lead a diverse team of passionate and skilled people. The team have appeared with their pirate style wood fired cooking set up in some unusual and unexpected locations, with the culmination of last season seeing Ben and the team opening the banqueting tent to over 300 guests at Wilderness Festival.
With Sam’s background in the voluntary sector, striving to make a difference is a key aim for the year ahead…look out for team Canteen disrupting the industry, doing things differently and generally curating a community of likeminded folk.
